Our Corporate teams play an important role in our guests’ travel experiences. Whether it is managing logistics for a small ship voyage in Europe or creatively marketing the Viking brand, we offer a wide range of career opportunities.

Guest experience

Our Guest Experience teams work to ensure operations run soundly and smoothly on voyages, continuously improving our products and identifying new ways to serve our guests.

Maintenance

Maintenance is charged with maintaining our technical equipment on board our river vessels. They perform repairs to items like an ice-crusher, a TV or a coffee machine. 

Product Development and Shore Excurisons

Product teams ensure itineraries, ports, ships, operational procedures, extensions and shore excursions are positioned to provide the best guest experience and communicated to ensure sales.

Purchasing and Procurement

Purchasing and Procurement purchases all food and non-food related products needed for our river, ocean and expedition fleets. They also ensure the transportation and logistics of products from our suppliers to our vessels.

Our Commercial Success teams shape our brand presence, expand our market reach and make data-driven decisions that drive our business towards continued success.

Marketing

Marketing is responsible for the creative development and execution of marketing and communications materials designed to engage current and prospective guests. The team oversees a diverse breadth of marketing functions including, but not limited to, brand reputation, traditional and social media, advertising, corporate events and product launches.

Sales

Sales successfully develops and enhances relationships with travel advisors who provide personalized Viking travel experiences for their clients. This team is also responsible for securing bookings and growing new business.

Business excellence

Our Business Excellence teams optimize our business with diligence, technology advancement and above all, human connections.

Accounting and Finance

Accounting gathers, processes and reports on financial data and analyzes the results. Our Finance team forecasts revenues and costs for future periods to help assess opportunities and risks. 

Human Resources and Administration

Focused on supporting employees through each stage of their career at Viking, HR ensures employees have benefits and resources for professional development. This team also manages recruitment and employee relations. 

IT and Data Solutions

IT is responsible for the operations of all computer systems and applications across the enterprise. This includes maintaining network infrastructure, protecting sensitive data and information, developing and maintaining software solutions to support business operations, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Operations

Operations is responsible for creating new voyages in addition to loading pricing and inventory for cruises, air, hotels, shore excursions, as well as promotions and guest support.

Yield Management

Yield Management is responsible for maximizing cruise, air and ancillary revenue on each Viking sailing. The team works to ensure Viking is achieving the revenue and demand needed to maximize guest capacity on board.
