BASEL OFFICE - Fleet Applications Administrator

The Business Solutions team plays an integral role in the strategy, architecture, design/acquisition, implementation, and management of various business applications and software solutions to enable planning, efficient operation, automation, and reporting needs of the company.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • As a key member of the Business Solutions team, the Fleet Applications Administrator will be overseeing ERP solutions in the operational center and on board of our ships
  • You will coordinate and supervise all activities related to day-to-day operations, monitoring, knowledge management, support and change management for those solutions

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will manage day-to-day operations of ERP applications, in particular: support processes, data flows, manage settings, monitor performance, manage user access in a compliant manner
  • You will become a go-to person for business for ERP applications support questions
  • You will suggest process/application improvements
  • You have to oversee installations, patching and updates, do related change management
  • You will participate in testing and design of testing procedures
  • You will manage dedicated support resources
  • You will manage knowledge, create articles, video tutorials, SOPs

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in supporting business processes and applications
  • Proven working experience in supporting ERP Solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements and manage priorities
  • Good understanding of IT technologies and technological stacks
  • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL

 

EDUCATION

  • You have a Bachelor’s in Information Technology or equivalent

  • You are an analytical problem solver and innovator
  • You have attention to detail, excellent organization skills, creativity and out of the box thinking
  • A dynamic, hands-on person capable of instilling a passion for excellence
  • Knowledge of the cruise, airline, or hospitality industry is preferred
