BASEL OFFICE - IT Business Services Analyst

ROLE DESCRIPTION
• As a key member of the IT department, the IT Business Service Analyst bridges between the Management and IT
• The position reports to the Director of IT Delivery & Project Management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will analyze and interpret data to identify business needs
• You will gather and document requirements for existing and new IT Business Services
• You will facilitate meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders
• You will communicate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their requirements
• You will provide ongoing support to ensure documentation and mapping of services is up-to-date
• You will assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures for maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• You will collect and update information about IT assets in the CMDB, including software and hardware versions, service levels, and dependencies
• You will identify and report on trends and patterns in the data to help optimize the IT environment
• You will identify IT Business Service KPI’s and assist in building data reporting dashboards
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess a background in ServiceNow and the ServiceNow CMDB
• Experience with data reporting and PowerBI
• Familiarity with ITIL framework
• Fundamental knowledge of Cloud Technology (Azure, AWS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment
EDUCATION
• You bring education in Informatics/ Computer Science/ IT (Information Technology)
