BASEL OFFICE - IT Service Center Analyst

  • As a key member of the IT department, the IT Service Center Analyst works in coordination with the department to support our our end users and our IT Business Services’ Cloud, Windows and Linux infrastructure and resolve operational problems
  • In addition to the forementioned systems, the position also includes operational and support duties on PaaS and SaaS solutions such as Viking’s Telephone, Enterprise Resource Planning and in-house custom serverless applications.
  • The position reports to the IT Service Center Manager



  • You will resolve user support incidents and requests, bridging the communication between the end user and other members of the Technology team
  • You will analyze and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems both on-premise and in cloud IaaS providers
  • You will manage hardware, software, and utilities for installation, modification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of operating systems and workstation environments
  • You will perform Desk deployment, from an IT perspective
  • You will ship and receive hardware to end users and other regional offices
  • You will document systems infrastructure for users, support and consulting personnel, and developers
  • You will resolve system problems and provide user consultation or training
  • You will support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting
  • You will support infrastructure deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to focus on customer requirements
  • Experience with multiple types of operating systems or expert knowledge in one
  • Experience with managing an integrated computing environment
  • Experience with networked environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows systems in 24 x 7 enterprise environments



  • You bring education in Informatics/ Computer Science/ IT (Information Technology)
